This has been fixed somewhat now on Encore, because they now put the episode numbers up front where you can search them. There's a new problem, however, I have complained about to DTV. The episode numbers are now season numbers instead of series numbers and there is no external indication of which season the episode is from. You might have to open six of them on Gunsmoke to find the one from the correct season and you can only do that from the original air date.
