As peds48 notes, sports bars are entirely different. One approach is a separate receiver for each display. Another approach is a matrix display system that allows switching multiple inputs to multiple outputs in almost any desired mix. The latter is a much more expensive approach, requiring additional equipment to implement.
So you have two Genie mini's feeding two TV's and are trying to get them in synch. What you've done is probably the best you'll be able to do.
