It's not necessarily a country-specific thing. I travel frequently to Canad, Europe and Asia. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. I've never figured out the pattern. So your mileage may vary....

First thing I would try is resetting your equipment. Push the little red button by the access card on each DVR and receiver.
