I currently have an HR44-700 Genie in my basement. This was to be my man-cave, but it's gone unused having two small children.
I also have a Geni Mini and two HD DVR receivers. I would like to move the Genie to the Den where an HD DVR is located and stop service on that receiver and send it to Directv. This would leave me one less receiver, which would be in the basement where the Genie is located. There would no longer be a receiver there. Do I need to move the SWiM since there won't be a receiver there and put it in the new location. If I routed the coaxial currently in the basement to the location where I want it, will that work? Any help would be appreciated.
