It is connected through a netgear router. Where do you find the model number on the genie? I just got it about 3 months ago.

How is it connected to the Netgear router? Ethernet cable? WiFi? DECA? The model number is on a label behind the front panel access card door, and on the rear panel. It's either HR34 or HR44.

How far is the HR44 from your wireless Netgear router? A few things to try ...Reset the HR44 (red button behind front panel access card door)Reset your routerTry using an ethernet cable instead of WiFi.

Try temporarily connecting with a long ethernet cable instead of WiFi. After you connect the ethernet cable between your router and HR44, reset the HR44 and repeat the Network Setup process. If that...
